Add your product
G2 Crowd currently provides ratings and reviews of business software, cloud hosting services, and related implementation services. Currently we are not providing a platform for reviewing hardware products or any software, games, or services that are intended primarily for personal rather than business use.
If your product fits these criteria and you don’t see it on our site, you can add it using this form. Just fill in the fields, and select the category that most closely aligns with your product. You can also attach or link to your logo. Once you submit the form, we’ll go over it and notify you via email when your product is up on the site (typically within five business days). Claim your product
Vendors can now "claim" their product listings and upload additional information to share with G2 Crowd users. As part of our standard version, you can provide screenshots, video demos and downloadable media, and you will control whether visitors can openly view the content or if they must submit their contact information prior to viewing. G2 Crowd users will also be able to contact you to get more information on your product.
To claim your product, go to the Details tab of your product's page, then click the Claim this Product button. After you submit your information, you'll be notified once we review and approve your claim request.
Tag your product
If your product already exists on G2 Crowd, you can tag the product to make it easier to find. Just type in the tag on the product page and click Add Tag (or hit enter). Existing tags are displayed as you type so you can select tags that have been entered on other products. After you have entered the tag, the G2 Crowd team will approve the tag for all other users to see. Approved tags show up in user searches and product filters.
Follow your product
Get notified when new reviews of your product go up on G2 Crowd with the Follow feature. Just click "Follow this" on the product's page, and you'll get an email when a user submits a review of your product or any other product you choose to follow. You can control how frequently you receive notifications in the Account Settings section of your profile.
Encourage your customers to use G2 Crowd
Customer reviews are a major influencer and often one of the first impressions your company or product makes. A good impression on G2 Crowd depends heavily on identified customers sharing high-quality, balanced reviews that accurately represent products. By encouraging customers to share authentic reviews of your products on G2 Crowd, you can:
- Capture your hard work and investment in customer success in a public forum
- Increase the odds of getting on prospects’ radars and short-lists
- Differentiate your offerings with an active, knowledgeable user network
- Reduce effort in the reference process by enabling prospects to find their own customer references and help prospects make faster decisions
Here are some ways you can promote usage of G2 Crowd among your customers:
- Embed the G2 Crowd Reviews Widget on your website. Use the widget builder to find your product, select the numbers of reviews you'd like to be shown, and customize the color scheme. Then just copy and paste the code onto your site to show off the great reviews your customers are sharing.
- Inviting your customer contacts to join G2 Crowd and submit authentic reviews
- Post a link to your product's page on your social media channels - LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ - or in a blog post, and ask your customers to write reviews
- Share your G2 Crowd page with your user groups and get your power users involved in spreading the word
- Making your marketing team aware of G2 Crowd and your product page
